Attention Video Gamers!
More specifically, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Gamers!
As you all know, the new downloadable content was released today. This Havoc pack includes 4 new maps and the Exo Zombies mode.
My hubby and I decided to buy the season pass a couple of week’s ago, so we were able to try out the new weapon, the AE4 directed energy assault riffle. I am more into wielding around a sub-machine gun, but this new assault riffle is pretty good. It’s got good damage and accuracy.
As for the new multiplayer maps, I am thoroughly impressed! Core and Drift are a little slower-paced. They are bigger maps than the other two, but still very fun to play. Now Urban and Sideshow are a blast! Smaller maps and faster-paced, with Urban being so small that it’s very reminiscent of our old-time favorite, Nuketown. Sideshow offers a fun little experience for gamers who wanna get crazy: bombs that you are able to pick up and throw at your opponents! But beware, I have noticed that this is a sniper’s paradise.
But of course, this get down to business shall we? Exo Zombies.
Before I give my little tiny review, I must confess that am not an avid Zombies mode player. I am by no means an expert on it, because I know guys who have gotten to ridiculously higher levels than I think I ever could in all the other games.
I am merely someone who would like to give a novice opinion.
First of all, for all of you movies-goers, how awesome is it that John Malkovich, Jon Bernthal, Rose McGowan, and Bill Paxton are the voices for the Zombies survivors?! I was already stoked about Kevin Spacey playing a part in the Campaign mode.
The story that it gives when you first start the mode kind of reminded me of…well, I’m not gonna say it. Let me just show you first.
Yup, Left for Dead.
But I’m okay with that.
So from what little bit that I have played of it, so far it seems pretty fun. I mean, it’s just like any other of the Zombies modes: kill zombies to survive and get to the highest level you can.
However, there are a few elements to this one that make that task just a tad bit more difficult. For instance, the Exo suits. Yes folks, the survivors aren’t the only ones with this ability, and those zombies can do all the things you can do too.
I’m still learning the ropes of the Exo Zombies mode, but so far so good. I’ll be able to get my zombie-killing fix on nights when I need a break from trying to keep our beloved Grace alive.
What do you all think of the new DLC pack for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare?
