Throwback Thursday Horror Movie Flick Pick!

Happy Throwback Thursday! As I did last week, I am taking a break from the throwback zombie flick picks this month. Instead, I am picking some of the scariest movies, in my opinion, for Halloween.

So, the Throwback Thursday Horror Movie Flick Pick is…

215px-Texas_chainsaw_massacreI know that there have been a ton of movies staring the wonderful Leatherface, but Michael Bay’s 2003 remake of the 1974 slasher film was probably the best remake of a movie I’ve ever seen!

It was truly terrifying, and Jessica Biel played such a convincing role of someone who is both scared and trying to survive the wrath of a crazed serial killer. It also doesn’t hurt that she is really hot!

I read somewhere that instead of filming out of order, like most movies do, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre was filmed in order of sequence. They started at the beginning and worked their way through to the end. In an interview, Jessica Biel stated that doing this made it easier to play the role of a scared woman fighting for her life. The cast was truly scared because they didn’t know what was coming.

So, if you haven’t seen this version of the chainsaw-wielding killer, check it out!
